Our practice
Maison Atrière was established in Monaco in 2014 by a small group of advisors drawn from private banking, architecture and the diplomatic service. The house was founded around a single belief: that the sale of a residence — and the orchestration of the life within it — deserves the same discretion as a private wealth mandate.
Today we serve fewer than fifty families a year. Membership is by introduction only. We do not advertise, publish a brochure, or list our principals.
Our offices are in New York, London, Monaco, Dubai, Miami and Aspen, with associate counsel in Paris, Tokyo, Geneva, São Paulo and Hong Kong. We answer in English, French, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese and Arabic.
Principles
Discretion above all
We never disclose a client. We rarely disclose a transaction. We will not be the source of any story about you.
Aligned, never transactional
We work on retainer. Our advice is paid for, not earned through commissions on properties we hope to sell you.
Slow when it matters
Acquisitions are not concluded in haste. We will counsel patience even when the market does not.
Global by relationship
Every market we work in is held by a partner who lives and operates there. We do not subcontract our judgment.
